Senior Microsoft Office 365 Administrator

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft Office 365 Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Office 365 environment and Managed Services Team to ensure maximum efficiency, security, and user satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of Office 365 applications including Power Platform, services, and integrations, as well as strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system administration and communication.

 What you will do:  
  • Office 365 Administration: Manage and maintain all aspects of our Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other related services.
  • User Management: Provision and deprovision user accounts, groups, and licenses. Ensure proper access controls and permissions are in place to safeguard sensitive data and resources.
  • Infrastructure Management: Monitor and manage Office 365 infrastructure components such as Azure AD Connect, ADFS, Azure AD, and other related technologies.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices, compliance policies, and data protection measures within the Office 365 environment. Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Respond to and resolve escalated technical issues related to Office 365 services. Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Migration and Upgrade Projects: Plan and execute migration projects from on-premises systems to Office 365. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials and documentation to educate users on Office 365 features, best practices, and productivity tools.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and utilization metrics. Identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and promote collaboration through Office 365 tools and integrations.
  • Staying Current with Technology: Keep abreast of the latest developments in Office 365 and related technologies. Evaluate new features and capabilities to recommend opportunities for innovation and improvement.

What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Microsoft Office 365 administrator or similar role.
  • Experience in working with and managing Managed Service Providers
  • In-depth knowledge of Office 365 applications, services, and architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience with designing and developing within the Microsoft Power Platform Designing and developing within the Microsoft Power Platform:
  • PowerApps (both standalone and as a front end for SharePoint)
  • Power Automate
  • PowerBI
  • Dataverse and Dynamics 365
  • Advanced experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks
  • Advanced experience of data integration using APIs
  • Experience using API custom connectors and developing Microsoft Flows with REST-API’s
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing Office 365 environments in large enterprises.
  • Not a must, but a plus
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: Office 365 or MCSE: Productivity are a plus.
